ANASTASSAKIS, Philip (Owner of Hilltop Restaurant, Member of Courtice Rotary). Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Corporation Oshawa on Friday October 16, 2009. Philip Anastassakis at the age of 58. Devoted father of Andreas Anastassakis (Katie) and Niko Anastassakis (Jessica). Beloved son of Dimitra Anastassakis and the Late Andreas Anastassakis. Sadly missed by his companion Mary Kamarinos. Loving brother of Janny Papadakis. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and many extended family. Philip will be missed by many of his dear friends. Resting at Courtice Funeral Chapel 1587 Highway #2, Courtice (905-432-8484) with Funeral Service at the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church (Ritson & Bloor, Oshawa) on Monday October 19, 2009 at 10:00 AM. The family of Philip will receive friends at the Courtice Funeral Chapel on Sunday October 18, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
